A wide waistband adds comfort while stretchy fabric maintains its elasticity and flattering fit even after several days of wear. David: The Troy Lee Designs Skyline Pants are great mountain biking pants designed to keep riders comfortable when temperatures and conditions vary greatly. Constructed of lightweight fabric that breathes well and featuring perforations in high heat zones such as knee backs or the crotch area. I have worn mine in temperatures reaching 65 degrees without issue - they kept my backside cool and dry!
The zippered hip pockets offer plenty of room for phones, secured with high-quality YKK zippers and featuring DWR (durable water repellent) coating for splashes or light rain. Their slim fit is suitable for most mountain bikers while their waist adjustment uses an easy and secure ratchet buckle buckle system allowing quick adjustment while riding.
These pants may not be as durable as Rapha Trail Lightweight or Pearl Izumi Elevate pants, but they still perform admirably during crashes and hiking around on trails. For something a bit more rugged check out POC Resistance Pro DH Pants; their thick fabric and extra abrasion-resistant panels give them superior breathability, durability, and comfort compared with more budget options.

As their name implies, these pants are designed for rugged downhilling and bike parks. Their fabric is soft yet breathable while the waist adjustment works seamlessly. A DWR coating helps ward off light rain showers or puddle splashes.
